This course combines Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) methodologies with Big Data processing to equip students with the skills to retrieve, analyze, and manage publicly available information for intelligence purposes. Students will learn OSINT principles, digital tools, data credibility assessment, and online footprint management. The course also covers the ethical, technological, and legal aspects of OSINT, ensuring students can effectively apply intelligence-gathering techniques while maintaining data security and compliance.
At the end of the course, Students will:
- Gain hands-on experience with OSINT tools and techniques to collect and analyze intelligence from open sources.
- Learn how to handle, process, and generate intelligence deliverables from large datasets.
- Understand how to protect digital identities, manage online footprints, and assess cybersecurity risks.
- Develop a strong foundation in the legal and ethical considerations of OSINT and data collection in intelligence operations.
