This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of law and human rights, with a particular focus on their application in the fields of security and intelligence. Through the study of legal frameworks, human rights treaties, and contemporary challenges, students will develop the skills necessary to critically analyze legal issues, interpret key legal principles, and apply ethical reasoning to real-world scenarios. The course also explores the legal and human rights implications of technological advancements in intelligence and security.
At the end of the course, Students will:
- Gain a strong foundation in key legal principles, human rights frameworks, and their application in security and intelligence contexts.
- Develop the ability to assess complex legal issues, analyze real-world case studies, and apply legal reasoning effectively.
- Understand the ethical considerations and human rights safeguards necessary for responsible decision-making in security and intelligence fields.
