Introduction to Security Technologies

This course explores the role of security technologies and artificial intelligence in intelligence gathering operations. Students will examine technical collection disciplines, the challenges and opportunities in technical intelligence activities, and the latest advancements in digital tools for intelligence purposes. The course will also focus on developing digital competencies, self-management skills, and the ability to analyze and implement security technologies in intelligence operations.

At the end of the course, Students will:

  • Implement security technologies and AI within the intelligence cycle.
  • Generate intelligence deliverables through Big Data processing.
  • Select and apply appropriate tools and resources for effective data analysis in intelligence operations.
  • Evaluate emerging technological trends and their implications for intelligence, security, and society.
