Human rights applied to law enforcement and intelligence (T1) / Human Rights and non-State Actors (T2)

This course explores the intersection of intelligence operations, security policies, and human rights within national and international legal frameworks. It examines the ethical, legal, and geopolitical implications of intelligence activities, focusing on the role of both state and non-state actors. Through case studies and theoretical analysis, students will assess the challenges posed by emerging technologies, legal oversight, and human rights protections in intelligence and security operations.
