This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of geopolitics, international relations theories, and their impact on global security. It covers key debates in international relations, the role of state and non-state actors, and the principles of power distribution. Students will also explore sound research methodologies, including argumentation, data collection, and statistical analysis, to enhance their ability to critically assess security issues. Additionally, the course emphasizes ethical conduct, teamwork, and interpersonal communication, equipping students with the skills necessary for professional intelligence and security roles.
At the end of the course, Students will:
