This course provides a comprehensive exploration of intelligence agencies’ role in safeguarding national interests. Through historical and contemporary case studies, students will critically analyze intelligence-gathering methods, operational challenges, and ethical considerations in national security. The course examines intelligence cycles, threat assessment strategies, and the legal frameworks governing intelligence operations. Students will also develop analytical and interpersonal skills essential for intelligence work, preparing them to assess the broader geopolitical impact of intelligence activities.
At the end of the course, Students will:
- Analyze the evolution of intelligence gathering and analysis, assessing key milestones, methodologies, and technological advancements.
