This course provides an in-depth examination of geopolitical theories, state and non-state actors, and the evolving challenges in international security. Students will explore authoritarianism, democracy, populism, and regional interactions in the global arena. The course also introduces key research methodologies for analyzing contemporary global issues such as human rights, migration, radicalization, and environmental concerns. Through case studies and theoretical frameworks, students will critically assess the role of international organizations in shaping global security and peace.
At the end of the course, Students will:
- Gain knowledge of regional and international geopolitical dynamics, including MENA, Asia-Pacific, and South America.
- Develop skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods applicable to intelligence and security studies.
- Evaluate legal, human rights, and technical aspects of intelligence and security challenges.
- Enhance communication, collaboration, and self-management abilities in professional and academic settings.
